  • I lead all joint planning , collaboration, training, audit and implementation of controls to abolish child labour in the global football stitching industry focussed on Jalandhar, Punjab India. After successful audit programme and development of control mechanisms, three years’ implementation leading to 80% abolition of child labour in soccer ball stitching industry Jalandhar India in collaboration with Save the Children Fund, FIFA. Government of India and key manufacturers.

  • Northern Ireland responsibility. Liaison with HMG Northern Ireland Office and MOD.

    Electricity generation distribution and supply. Membership guidance and technical support.

  • I contributed by invitation of the then Chancellor of the Exchequer Gordon Brown. For two years I was part of a select group presenting timely specialist briefings for the Chancellor of the Exchequer for specific technical guidance. Specialists such as myself were drawn from all walks of professional life with no required allegiance to the government of the day but with high level independent expertise. Specialist contributor to ad-hoc policy forums. The meetings were convened at No 11 Downing Street.

  • The first third-party ethical audit business standard, implementation of first ethical audits globally for Disney Corporation global supply chain creation and global roll-out of first SA 8000 Training Programme.

  • World’s first supplier audit programme to the Humane Cosmetics Standard audit for animal rights. Planning, audit & reporting for the British Union for the Abolition of Vivisection.
